The very first IceCycle Buffalo is almost here and we are so excited to tackle this challenge together at Buffalo RiverWorks. Here’s what you need to know about coming out to the event.
We want all of our participants to not only have fun at IceCycle, but feel safe while raising funds for cancer patients. Below are the COVID-19 safety protocols to expect before and during the event:
We are planning on two separate check in areas for outdoor and indoor sessions. Outdoor sessions will head to the curling rink to the check-in table. Once checked in and screened, you will go to the ice and find your assigned bike.
Indoor participants will go to the main entrance to the check-in table on the ground floor. Once checked in and screened, you will head to your assigned bike.
Locker rooms will be closed, however we will have bins located next to each bike for personal belongings. Please change your shoes upon arrival at RiverWorks. Only dry, clean shoes should be worn on the bikes.
Additionally, water fountains will also be closed, so please bring your own water bottle. Our team will also supply plastic water bottles, too.
If you need assistance setting up your bike, check out this how-to guide from Danielle of Dani-Fit.
