The Weekend Event

The weekend event

Get ready!

IceCycle is almost here! Here’s everything you need to know to get the most out of your experience.

Before your ride

Make sure you have reached your fundraising minimum which clears you to participate in IceCycle!

You must raise $200 to participate in a session with a local studio and $500 to participate in 2 sessions or just Kristina’s session.

Dress for the weather. Don’t forget this is an outdoor event on the ice. Consider also packing a change of clothes for after your ride.

If you have spin shoes, our bikes are compatible with SPD clips. Otherwise, please wear sneakers while out on the ice.

Stay hydrated and nourished!

Once you arrive

After parking at Buffalo RiverWorks, you can enter the building through the main entrance.

Check-in is required! Come to the check-in table, sponsored by Casella, to sign in for your session and pick up your rewards.

Lumos is providing all riders with a towel. Survivors will receive a special towel at check-in. All other riders will be handed a towel when they walk out onto the ice.

During your session

Arrive at your bike ten minutes before your session begins. The first row of bikes may be reserved. All other bikes are first-come, first-served.

Fill out a tribute card for who you’re riding for in the Experience Area and attach the card to your bike.

If you need help with your bike, find someone with a blue hat. They are volunteers who will be able to assist you.

There will be a basket next to your bike for your coat and shoes sponsored by GenMab.
